Up and Running

Took me two days of flying (thunderstorms in Charlotte plus the delays with the heightened security), but finally got back home to sunny Fort Myers. But all is well, now on the flat, swampy edge of the Everglades. A little different from my time in the Sawtooths with my son Carson, who took this nice picture of me as we were taking a rest from our kayaking.

Anyway, I'm back, and I'll be posting with a little more regularity.

I'm glad you survived the airport security :) We are planning a trip to the UK next year and I don't fancy the 24 hour flight (from NZ) if they are still banning all carryon baggage such as laptops, books etc. What does one do? Stare at the walls?
I looked for you on Poetry Thursday, didn't realize you were away.

I agree with Liz, it just hasn't been the same without you. Glad you had a great two weeks, despite the security checks.

Also, your book "Pictures That Got Small" finally came in the mail a few days ago. I'm diving into it this weekend. Can't wait!
